new and ongoing confirmatory clinical trials (registry) initiated on or after 01 July 2005 and sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim are provided through

www.clinicaltrials.gov

which is a service of the U.S. National Institutes of Health and developed by the National Library of Medicine.

As of May 2007 Boehringer Ingelheim will prospectively list Post Marketing Surveillance Studies (PMS) and their German equivalents (“Anwendungs- beobachtungsstudien” AWBs).

Comprehensive information on
results of trials completed since January 2005 (results database) and sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim for their products commercially available in at least one country are provided on this  website with the

For studies awaiting publication, this website will publish abbreviated information. An update with comprehensive information will appear when publication occurs.
